Some area schools are opening their doors tonight for parents. Mid-Prairie and Keota Superintendent Mark Schneider says that all schools in the Mid-Prairie district and Keota Elementary will be having conferences from 3:30 to 7:30 today and also on Thursday, November 8th.
He says each level does things differently. The three elementary schools schedule parent-teacher conferences, the middle school sets appointments with parents and the high school has an open house. Schneider notes that these meetings give parents a chance to continue building the relationship with their child’s instructor.
Conferences at Mid-Prairie are held twice a year, once in the fall and one in the spring. The rest of the Keota districts conferences will be held on the 28th.
