The community gathered at Washington Township Elementary last night to learn about other cultures. Chinese instructor at Mid-Prairie School District, Nicholas O’Brien, says International Night was an opportunity for foreign exchange students attending Mid-Prairie and Iowa Mennonite School to show off where they came from.

He says the students had booths set up where they talked about their individual countries of origin.

He adds they also had a special visitor from Concordia International who talked about exchange programs available to students.
