Description: The 13th Nativities Around the World Display at the Ainsworth Opera House will be open to the public Friday, December 7th until Sunday, December 9th. Hours on Friday and Saturday are 10am to 8pm and Sundays from 1pm to 5pm. Admission is $5.

Washington Snow Lighted Parade

Title: Washington Snow Lighted Parade
Description: The Washington Snow Lighted Parade is being held Friday starting at 4pm with live entertainment. Starting at 5 there will be free food and free hayrack rides. At 5:30 the lighting ceremony, with the lighted holiday parade to follow. At 7 Santa’s House opens for the season.

Memorial services for 69 year old Lillian I. Thompson of Muscatine will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery. The Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction is handling the arrangements.
