Local National Guard Unit Moving; New One Arriving

Description: Twenty area artists will be at Wooden Wheel Vineyards this Saturday, November 17th from 9 to 4pm. Their work includes painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, pottery, fiver art and wearables in a variety of mediums. The Wooden Wheel is eleven miles west of HW 1 on HW 92.

Funeral services for 78 year old Donald Keith DeWolf of Tucson, Arizona formerly of Brighton will be held at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn in Tucson from 10 to 11am Friday.

A Mass of Christian Burial for 86 year old Richard Shalla of Wellman, formerly of Kalona and Richmond, will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with a rosary at 7:30 at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for Silver Pond and Parkview Home. The Peterseim Funeral is handling the arrangements.
