The public is being warned about a possible Medicaid scam. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office a resident of the County reported receiving a phone call requesting Medicaid information. The caller became suspicious after being asked for her banking information and home address for a new Medicaid card. After an investigation, the phone number was found to be fraudulent. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office warns residents to be cautious when asked for personal information over the phone, and be aware of this possible Medicaid scam.
