The former Washington Junior High school building, which is now a part of the new high school, needs a new boiler. Washington School Superintendent Mike Jorgensen informed the Washington School Board this week that they have several options for replacing the aging heating unit.
A couple of the options involve issuing a bond which could require a public vote for approval. Both a replacement boiler and geothermal systems are possibilities.
The board will discuss the matter again at an upcoming meeting.
