The Washington Community School District has contracted out for work to landscape school grounds.  The school board awarded a bid to R-D-L Mowing for 35-thousand dollars for work done over a calendar year.  Along with mowing, the company will be responsible for a host of other landscaping and grounds-keeping work.  Superintendent Mike Jorgensen says that outsourcing the work ends up saving the district money.
