The Washington Community School District plans to outsource more grounds-keeping. Superintendent Mike Jorgensen says they previously have contracted out for mowing services, but now especially with additional ground at the new high school, Jorgensen says he expects that there is more outside work that can be done more cheaply than they can do with their own staff. They have received three bids for the work. The Washington School Board will review the bids at their meeting tonight.
