Saint James Catholic Church in Washington has a fundraiser today. It’s to raise money for the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.  That group is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women.  Among other efforts, they donate to charities and provide scholarships.

The group is over 100 years old and reports about 75-thousand members in the U.S. and Mexico. The local chapter calls today’s event the Annual Harvest Supper.  It’s at Tobin Hall at Saint James.

They’ll have soups, bread, relish, desserts and drinks.  It’s tonight from 5 to 7.
