One of the three new Washington County Supervisors says he’ll be preparing over the next couple months for the start of his term in January. Stan Stoops beat incumbent Adam Mangold and Democratic challenger Richard Gilmore to win the district four seat on Tuesday. That district covers part of the city of Washington. Stoops says that his priorities are to listen to residents of the district and to put their needs first. Stoops first edged out Mangold in a Republican primary. Mangold then ran as an independent in the general election.
