The trial of a man accused of sexually assaulting a fellow inmate in Washington County Jail has been set. According to Washington County Attorney, Larry Brock, 42 year old Rudolph Edwards of Country Club Hills, Illinois will stand trial on January 15th, with a pretrial conference set for January 4th. Edwards is currently being held in Anamosa Prison. The complaint filed by the State of Iowa is in connection to the alleged rape of Martin Medrano, an undocumented immigrant.
