About 100 veterans, family, and friends gathered at the Iowa National Guard Readiness Center in Washington on Monday.

At the Veterans Day evening event in Washington on Monday, the American Legion Post 29 had a dinner and program at the Iowa National Guard Readiness Center.  That facility is the former armory near Hy-Vee.  The evening included a recognition of veterans in each branch of the military, and a performance by the ladies vocal group Just Us Girls.  Iowa National Guard’s Sergeant Rob Radosevich was the guest speaker.

Dave Stouffer begins the program and speaks on behalf of F-Troop in Washington.

At the end of the evening, the Post Commander Robert Kennedy presented a bell to the American Legion Auxillary.
