The Washington Demons will face off with WACO tonight at the Iowa Hall of Pride game.

This game helps raise money for a charity, and this year both schools are raising money to help out the victims involved with Hurricane Sandy.

Both boys’ teams come into this game with only about a week of practice and no prior game experience.

Washington had a 13-9 record last year, but lost four starting seniors, and a combined 986 total points with them.

Washington will look toward Kyle Roder the fifth man on the team to make things happen with his 166 points from last year.

WACO finished an even 11-11 and shot 35 percent from the floor. They also lost four seniors from the top five, but bring back the top scorer with Tyler Ayers who had 194 points last year.

They teams play in WACO tonight with tip-off at 7:30. You can hear this game on AM and FM KCII and KCIIradio.com immediately following the post-game show of the girls games prior. The one to count on for today’s local sports coverage is AM and FM KCII.
