A newly formed group trying to enhance local cable television in Washington is continuing to establish themselves and their priorities. The Washington City Cable Television Commission was formed earlier this year.
This Monday, the group will be electing officers and further discussing guidelines for equipment use and training. They have talked about filming Washington City Council meetings, sporting events, and other events that residents are interested in producing themselves. The city’s cable channel would then air those as programs.
Their meeting Monday is at the Washington YMCA at 6:30 p.m.
