The City of Washington now has updated safety manuals.  The City Engineering Technician Keith Henkel says that the previous city manuals were out-of-date.

The new equipment guidelines and procedures include the personal protective equipment program, working in confined spaces, and a hazardous communication program.

The new manuals were approved by the city council at a meeting earlier this month.
