A landmark Washington building that’s well over a century old has undergone some needed maintenance work, which also gives it a new look. The Blair House just east of downtown now has more colorful shingles on part of the roof.
Blair House Non-Profit Corporation Board President Virginia Boardwell says that the group has been securing grants and other funding, and they are doing the work as funding becomes available.
She says the work has been needed for many years.
