A local volunteer fire department responded to an Iowa County corn bin fire this week.According to the Washington County Safety Center the fire near the crossing of V Avenue and 320th street in Iowa County, north of Wellman was first reported Tuesday. The Safety Center continued to receive calls about the visible flames until yesterday. The Wellman Fire Department responded and advised the owner of the corn bin to get a salvage company to clean out the corn.
