Washington County will be taking part in a statewide initiative focused on health. Live Healthy Iowa was started in 2002 to provide health and wellness opportunities to educate and motivate people to get healthy, and the 10 Week Wellness Challenge does just that.
Co-Chair of Washington County’s Live Healthy Iowa Edie Nebel says it’s an opportunity to create some friendly competition by setting up teams and tracking physical activity and weight loss.
