Flu season is in full swing in Iowa and is shaping up to be much worse than last year. According to Lynn Fisher with Washington County Public Health their last weekly report from the state showed that there have been 378 confirmed cases in Iowa, while last year at this point there were 10. She adds the University of Iowa State Hygienic Lab has confirmed cases in Washington County. She says it isn’t too late to get a flu shot.
