An event in Brighton this weekend has a goal of getting the community in the holiday spirit. The Brighton Tour of Homes is Saturday from 4:30 to 8:30 and will include three homes and the Brighton United Methodist Church.

Treasurer of the church and chairperson of the tour Sandy Dickinson says the tour was originally started as a fundraiser for the church, but will now be donating all the proceeds to the city. Tickets can be purchased at each location and each has a map of the tour on the back.

Brighton United Methodist Church is located at 101 South Mechanic Street in Brighton.
