Demon Boys Get Doubled Up

The Washington boy’s team played a game last night that they will want to forget and move on from, as they lost to Ft. Madison 67-30.
Washington started off with a 5-0 lead, after good buckets from Elijah Wood from three and a couple of free throws from Justin Hoffman. Washington trailed after one 12-7.
But as quickly as they started, they quickly got cold, scoring just two points in the second quarter, and trailing at half 28-9.
The rest of the game was much of the same, as the Demon put multiple different lineups in to change things around, and out of the half they did score 14, but still trailed 48-23.
Washington then fell under the 35 point constant clock, and dropped the game 67-30.
Demon head coach Bryce Smeins talked about the idea of the different lineups after the game.
“When you’re playing and you’re shooting 20 percent or 15 percent, we’re not going to be playing with that same line up all year, if one line up can’t get it done we’ll try a different one, and after Christmas you might see a whole different one,” Smeins said.
The Demons are done for the first half of their season, and will pick back up in January.
