The Washington Boy Scout Troop 242 has completed their fall fundraisers. Scoutmaster Kathy Fields says that the holiday wreath sales were down in numbers a little this year, but the popcorn sales were up compared to last year.  A total of $12,247 worth of popcorn was sold. Now the scouts are looking at a new fundraiser that involves taking a type of parachute cord and wrapping a single length of it into a bracelet.  The idea is to wear it, but also to have cord handy for whatever it might be useful for.
