Lone Tree wrestling finished 2-5 in duals for the first half of the season, but are still looking ahead.

Alex Yedlik, the top letter winner returner for the Lions has had a few bumps and bruises, and head coach Bret Jones is hoping this nice long break will get him back healthy and onto the mats.

The Lions have hosts two of the five meets they are hosting this year.

Jones says they will start practice today, and it will be a tough one.

“We’re going to be going pretty hard right away, they’ve had a week off now, just before Christmas we had two snow days there, and missed a couple of practices, they’ve had a whole week off now, and should be read to get back to work,” Jones said.

Lone Tree wrestling picks back up on Jan. 3 when they travel to a quadrangular with Regina, WACO and West Branch.
