Mid-Prairie’s Dance Team recently made their school proud at a state competition. Courtney Longlet and her team went to Des Moines last week for the Iowa Drill and Dance Team Association State Competition.
While there they competed against 11 other teams in the pom category, and were able to secure a Division 1 ranking and place 4th.
As for what’s next for the dance team; you can catch them during their halftime performances at Mid-Prairie basketball games throughout the season and also on Dance Team Night, which is scheduled for March 16th, where they’ll exhibit what they’ve been working on during over the season.
