A new group in Washington is pushing for the city to examine residential housing. The group is called the Grassroots Movement to Improve Washington’s Central Neighborhoods.  The group addressed the Washington City Council this week and outlined their concern that a deterioration of the condition of residential properties in the city will harm economic development, lower property value, and threaten safety.  The group suggests areas for the city to explore to address their concerns. The city is planning to set up a task force to do similar work.
