After a lengthy public hearing, a project note for the halted Rubio project was approved. At Tuesday’s meeting the Washington County Board of Supervisors approved an amended joint agreement with RUSS and a project note that guarantees they’ll be paid for the work they’ve done, should the county decide not to go through with the project. RUSS has already invested around $90,000 into that project. This is similar to what was passed for the Richmond project.
