Earlier last week KCII wrote a story about Ryan Reighard, and a national Iowa football team that was playing in West Des Moines this past weekend.

Reighard and his team won both games, beating team Wisconsin 19-0 and team Minnesota 29-6.

Team Iowa head coach Tyler Blum said Reighard is one of those players that are a coach’s dream.

“You want ever kid to coach to be like Ryan, he listens follows directions, plays hard, everything a coach is looking for,” Blum said,. “I always tell people what we’re looking for at tryouts, is the number one this is can he listen and follow directions, we can teach them what to do on the football field, but we can’t teach them to listen, pay attention and all of that stuff, and Reighard does all of that, he’s a hard worker, he’s always where he needs to be, and he is a real asset to our backfield.”

Ryan scored a touchdown in the win against Minnesota. With the wins, Iowa moves on to round two in Kansas City
