As work on the Louisa County Youth Center slows down for the winter, fundraising efforts continue. Today Bob Schlutz, the man who spearheaded the project and others will head for the CAT Review Committee meeting in Des Moines.

While there they will state their case in front of the Community attraction and tourism program review committee for state funding to help them complete the project.

Schlutz says a request for $125,000 in funding was submitted over a year ago and adds a decision wont’ be made until mid-February.
