If you’re planning to ship packages to friends and family out of state, do so quickly. According to Kalona Postmaster, Gea Walton, packages being shipped domestically, at the latest, need to be to the post office by Saturday to qualify for Express Mail.

The deadline for Priority Mail is Friday and the last day to ship First Class is tomorrow.

The eligibility for Express Mail postage refunds is adjusted for shipments mailed between Saturday and Christmas Day.
