The 4-2 Washington Demons will travel to Durant tonight for a single game.

Washington is coming off a tough fought win at Fairfield last week, and is led by Beth Dillon with 49 points on the year.

Dillon also leads the team in rebounds with 32, while Stephanie Fishback has stolen 21 balls and has 39 points on the team.

Durant is shooting 35.5 percent from the floor, 41 percent from behind the arc and just under 60 percent from the free throw line.

They are led by Sidney Lilienthal with 92 points this season.

Demon head coach Phil Long said this will be a good game to help prepare for Keokuk on Friday.

“We’re trying to work a little more on our man-to-man defense because we will face that a lot against Durant tonight and with Keokuk on Friday night, and a couple of different looks out of that set that will help isolate a couple of our players down in that block area,” Long Said. “We thought it would be a good opportunity because I think we’ll see a lot of man-to-man, to work on those things, because the conference battle is what we’re worried about this time of year.”

Washington and Durant meet up tonight at Durant, with the schedule as follows Freshmen game at 4:00, JV at 6:00 and Varsity at 7:30.
