Members of the community that have made big impacts on the district will be added to Mid-Prairie’s Wall of Fame tonight. In 2009 the district established the wall that recognizes community members that have improved Mid-Prairie schools, either through their years of service or through their support.
High School Principal Gary Beeler says at 7, during the Fine Arts Booster Club Soup Supper, the four couples that are being inducted will be introduced, and again at halftime of the boys basketball game. The four couples will join 21 other individuals or couples on the wall.
Those that have been recognized are longtime educators, school board members and general supporters of the school. According to Beeler the couples being honored tomorrow night are Dwight and Junell Duwa, Don and Wilma Gingerich, Ken and Sue Kempf, as well as Kenneth and Katheryn Kos.
