The Washington County Extension Office is taking registrations for commercial pesticide applicators interested in a continuing instructional course.  The Commercial Ag Weed, Insect and Plant Disease Management Continuing Instructional Course will be shown on February 13 at various locations including in Washington County.

The morning course is for pesticide applicators certified in certain categories.  Topics include pesticide handling, personal protective equipment, pest management, and pesticide stewardship.  The course is offered through Iowa State University Extension and also the Outreach Pest Management and the Environment program.
