The Washington City Cable Television Commission meets at a special location this evening. The group will be in the basement of the Washington Public Library to survey the space that’s been designated for a small television studio and production area.

Last year, the commission was formed and made an agreement with the library board about using part of a basement storage area for the new facility.  Commission members have expressed desire to have more public input to guide the process of setting up the public access structure.  The commission has been reviewing the way some other cities like Iowa City have set up rules for equipment use and online streaming.

This evening the commission will be talking specifically about the layout of the studio space and outlining their budget.  They meet at 6:30.
