An accident in Henry County has led to the driver being charged. At around 9 o’clock last night, a pickup truck driven by 28-year-old Dustin Beames of Winfield lost control while westbound on 130th Street, a mile east of Winfield, entering the ditch and ending up on its side. Beames and his passenger were transported to Henry County Health Center via Henry County Ambulance. Beames is charged with his 3rd OWI, failure to maintain control and driving while suspended. The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the Winfield Police Department.
