The Washington City Council is working on more details of the city’s annual budget tonight.  The work-session is to further examine the numbers. Last week, the council heard a presentation from City Administrator Brent Hinson with an overview of each department.  Tonight they plan to get more details about particular projects and issues that will be faced in the next fiscal year, which starts in July. The work-session is one of many similar meetings where the council will not take action on specific items, but instead will have discussion and hear presentations. After reviewing each city department in detail, a future meeting will review funding for other groups like the Washington Economic Development Group and Paws and More Animal Shelter. The council meeting is at 6 at the Washington Public Library.
