The Washington City council has decided not to change their meeting schedule.  Despite some city council members suggesting a move to Monday or Tuesday, the council voted to continue meeting Wednesday evenings for their regular meeting. Voting ‘no’ to the change was  Councilor Mark Kendall, who suggested that Wednesday is traditionally an evening for church programs and services.  The council meets the first and third Wednesday of  the month at 6 p.m. at the former library building on Main Street.
