The Washington Demon boy’s will play IMS tonight in an out of conference and class game.

The Demons are 4-10 this year and shooting 31.7 percent from the field and scoring 43.7 points per game.

Kyle Roder continues to lead the team with 181 points with Justin Hoffman behind him with 154 points.

Demon head basketball coach Bryce Smeins said this game has a rivalry feel.

“You got IMS and you’re going to there place to play and that is always a tough place to play where they are at, tight little gym, and it will be emotional that is one of our rivals, and it will be a barn burner hopefully, and they are going to want to play up tempo, they handle it well and shoot it well, so that will be a challenge Tuesday night,” Smeins.

IMS is 15-2, still with just two losses dealt by Lone Tree.

They are shooting 53.3 percent from the field and scoring 70 points per game.

They are led by Peyton Thompson with 283 points, and Cameron Gingerich with 280 points on the year. Dallas Nye sits third with 227 points and Reggie Hostetler can also start the scoring with 137 points on the year.

IMS head coach Dwight Gingerich said the athleticism of Washington makes them dangerous.

“They’re athletic strong, big kids, and so our hands will be full, and it is always a great game when we play and going back a lot of years we’ve had great games and we expect this one to be the same and we hope that we can come out and play well,” Gingerich.
