Warmer temperatures today have cleared roadways of accumulated ice.  Several waves of  precipitation yesterday make for dangerous driving conditions. The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities had issued winter storm warnings and other advisories because of the harsh weather.

Today and tonight look to be warmer.  The predicted evening low temps are in the upper 40s, but rain is likely.  Snowfall is more likely as the week progresses, until it gets much colder Wednesday and Thursday.

Storm reports from trained weather spotters showed between one and two-tenths of an inch of freezing rain in Washington County on Sunday.
