Highland girls fell to Pekin 49-45.

Highland won the scoring battle in the middle two quarters, but was outscored to much in the first and fourth quarters to overcome.

They were led by Kelsey Doreo with 10 points on the night.

Head coach Jodi Fink said his girls had to fight their way out of being down 13-0 to start the game, and was proud of the effort. Highland is back to 8-8 in the conference and is 10-8 overall.
