Jury deliberations began yesterday and will continue this morning. Following closing arguments from the prosecution and the defense in 42-year-old Rudolph Edwards’ trial yesterday, the jury was dismissed at around 10am and deliberated until 4:30. Washington County Attorney Larry Brock says the judge met with the jury and it was decided to pick things back up at 8:30 this morning. Edwards is charged with sexual assault in the 3rd degree, in connection to a July 2011 incident where he allegedly sexually assaulted a fellow inmate at the Washington County Jail.
