With nearly $1 Billion in surplus funds, the Iowa legislature is tasked with finding a way to spend it. State Senator Sandy Greiner says they need to responsibly deal with this surplus. She says there’s a stockpile of ideas, but she’s hoping that they can do something to buy down property tax at the county level. But she adds that the other legislators will have to be on board.
