The Washington County Conservation Board Winter Adventure Day is today. The afternoon includes an ice fishing clinic if it is determined that there is more than enough ice to be safe doing do.  It will include an underwater camera that’s meant to let you watch yourself catch a fish.

Short hikes will be included to teach about searching for particular animal signs. Inside there is a program about Iowa’s owls.  There also will be warm drinks and snacks. People 16 and older need a valid fishing license to participate in the ice fishing.

The event is at the Conservation Education Center at Marr Park near Ainsworth.
