The Mid-Prairie wrestling team picked up in the second half of the season right where they left off before break scoring a pair of duel wins in Keokuk Thursday night. Mid-Prairie bested the host Chiefs 40-39 in the first duel of the night with Mid-Prairie getting falls from Miguel Sanchez at 152, Cameron Tolander at 160, Eesaa Baylor at 170, Phirom Peterschmidt at 182, and Nearoth Peterschmidt at 195. The duel came down to criteria which the Golden Hawks won by scoring more overall points in the event.

Mid-Prairie went on to edge Fairfield in the second duel of the night 36-33. The Golden Hawks got falls from Nearoth Peterschmidt at 195, Ryan Errthum at 106, Josh Murphy at 113, Miguel Sanchez at 152 and Phirom Peterschmidt at 182. With the sweep Mid-Prairie is now 7-1 on the season and will next be in action at the Clear Creek Amana Classic on Saturday.
