Thursday proved to be a rough night for the Mid-Prairie wrestling team as they dropped both duals of a Cedar Valley Conference triangular at Wilton. Mid-Prairie matched up first with the home standing Beavers who knocked off the Golden Hawks 55-18. Recording wins in contested matches for Mid-Prairie were Phirom Peterschmidt who recorded a fall at 182 and Josh Murphy with a fall at 113.

In their second dual Mid-Prairie was on the short end of a 37-35 score against the West Branch Bears. Mid-Prairie recorded wins in contested matches with Phirom Peterschmidt’s tech fall at 182 and Kendall Bontrager’s pin at 138. Mid-Prairie is now 8-5 on the year and will be in action Saturday at the Solon Tournament.
