It could decide who wins the North division of the South East Iowa Super Conference, and it will definitely decide who leads it.

Tonight Undefeated No.3 Lone Tree faces one loss No. 10 IMS in a rivalry match.

Lone Tree has beat everyone by double digit points this year but twice, once in Illinois and another against Pekin earlier in the week.

They are shooting 43.5 percent from the floor, 42 percent from behind the arc, 70 percent from the free throw line and are scoring 73.8 points per game.

Bryan Forbes leads the way with 282 points and 112 rebounds.

Lone Tree head coach Tom Squires said IMS is a good team and well coached and that when they play at home, it is a definite advantage.

“They’re extremely well coached, and there are some things that they do that a lot of teams don’t do,” Squires said. “They rarely turn the ball over, they shoot well, they play very well at home, on their home floor they don’t lose much at home and it is always a very tough environment.”

IMS has one loss this year to Lone Tree, but since has taken out every team by double digit points.

IMS is shooting 55 percent from the field and 69 percent from the free throw line and scoring 72 points per game.

They are led by Dallas Nye with 182 points, Cameron Gingerich with 178 points and Peyton Thompson with 177 points.
