A public meeting has been scheduled with the hopes that it will produce a viable alternative to the Richmond lagoon project. The work session is set to take place next Tuesday evening at 6:30 at the Holy Trinity Parish Life Center in Richmond. The decision was made at yesterday’s Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting. Supervisor Jack Seward Jr. stated at the meeting that he doesn’t want to rehash old arguments, but rather give the residents of Richmond an opportunity to present alternatives to the lagoon sewer system.
