Testimony to Continue This Morning in Edwards Trial

Opening statements were heard in the Edwards trial yesterday. According to Washington County Attorney, Larry Brock, the day began with jury selection, where seven women and five men were chosen for 42-year-old Rudolph Edwards trial. Edwards is accused of sexually assaulting a fellow inmate while being held at the Washington County Jail. Following opening statements, testimony was heard from Washington County Sheriff Jerry Dunbar and Dr. Huang. The trial will resume this morning at 8:45 with more testimony.
