The Warrior boy’s basketball team went into the halftime with a 50/50 record at 4-4.

WACO won their first two games, and then lost three straight and went two and one in the last three games of the first half.

Dylan Carlson leads the team with 92 points, with Aaron Barnhart with 83 points.

Head coach Bob Hilmer said his team is focusing more on preparing for the games, than redoing drill work.

“We haven’t done a lot of drill work here over vacation, probably won’t do a lot of drill work,” Hilmer said. “We’ll do a lot of game type work where we are setting up game type situations and executing according to what the situation is we have there.”

WACO plays Lone Tree on Friday and then will host Holy Trinity on Saturday.
