Washington Girls Try to Bounce Back after Loss

The Washington Demon girl’s basketball team will be at home tonight when they play host to No. 7 in 5A Muscatine.

Washington dropped their game to Oskaloosa over the weekend giving them their third loss of the season and first one after seven wins.

The Demons are shooting 34 percent from the field and 54 percent from the free throw line.

Washington is lead by Stephanie Fishback with 92 points and Lauren Kimball with 90 points.

Muscatine is 11-2 and is shooting 46 percent from the field and 72.5 percent from the free throw line on their way to scoring 61.8 points per game.

The Muskies have four players with over 100 points on the year. Leading the way is Leti Lerma with 168 points and Emily Clemens with 165 points.

This game is at Washington with tip-off at 8 P.M.
