The Washington Demon Wrestling team will have their final conference dual tonight, as well as their final home meet.

Washington will host school and conference rival Mt. Pleasant.

The Demons had a little hiccup on their last conference meet losing to Ft. Madison.

Demon head coach Brent VanWeelden said, that his team will need to win at the lower weights to take the win.

“As far as Mt. Pleasant goes they are pretty tough in the upper weight, 182 to heavy weight,” VanWeelden said. “So that is where they are the toughest, so we’re going to have to try and win some matches down below if we’re going to have a chance to win.”

Tonight is also youth appreciation night and take down cancer night for Washington, as the Demon will wear black and pink singlets.

First match is scheduled for 6:30 tonight.
